1. Purpose of This Policy
This Ecosystem Integrity & Anti-Fraud Policy establishes standards intended to protect the fairness, transparency, authenticity, reliability, and integrity of the XGlobal Ecosystem™.
The purpose of this Policy is to prevent, detect, investigate, deter, and respond to fraudulent, deceptive, manipulative, abusive, artificial, or otherwise illegitimate activity that may adversely affect XGlobal™, its users, participants, affiliates, sub-affiliates, partners, systems, programs, rewards, commissions, referral structures, advertisers, merchants, or other legitimate ecosystem participants.
XGlobal™ is committed to maintaining an ecosystem in which participation, engagement, referrals, measurable activity, rewards, commissions, and other qualifying activity are based on legitimate activity and are not artificially created, manipulated, fabricated, or fraudulently obtained.
This Policy is intended to operate together with the applicable XGlobal™ Terms of Use, agreements, program terms, participation requirements, privacy requirements, and other applicable XGlobal™ policies. It does not replace or limit any separate agreement or policy unless expressly stated otherwise.
2. Ecosystem Scope
This Policy applies to activity conducted through, connected with, or affecting the XGlobal ecosystem, subject to the applicable agreement, program rules, and law governing the relevant relationship.
Applies to participants, users, affiliates, sub-affiliates, partners, and other persons or entities participating in applicable XGlobal™ programs or ecosystem activities.
Covers referrals, engagement, commissions, rewards, advertising-related activity, traffic, clicks, conversions, leads, registrations, transactions, and other measurable or qualifying activity where applicable.
Applies across XGlobal™ websites, platforms, applications, systems, programs, digital services, devices, access points, and other ecosystem interfaces where this Policy applies.
Applies regardless of whether prohibited activity is attempted directly, indirectly, through another person or account, through automation, or through a third-party service.
3. Integrity Definitions
For purposes of this Policy, the following terms are intended to describe categories of conduct that may compromise ecosystem integrity. These descriptions are illustrative and do not limit XGlobal's ability to address materially similar conduct.
Fraud
Any intentional or knowingly deceptive act, omission, representation, transaction, submission, or arrangement intended to obtain an unauthorized benefit, advantage, payment, reward, commission, access, or other value.
Abuse
Misuse of an XGlobal™ system, program, account, feature, process, promotion, referral structure, or participation mechanism in a manner that undermines its intended purpose, fairness, security, reliability, or legitimate operation.
System Manipulation
Artificially altering, inflating, suppressing, redirecting, fabricating, or otherwise manipulating measurable activity, attribution, performance data, referrals, conversions, rewards, commissions, traffic, clicks, leads, or other system-generated records.
Invalid Activity
Activity that is not generated through genuine participation, legitimate user interest, authorized activity, or otherwise qualifying activity under the applicable XGlobal™ program or terms.
Collusion
Coordinated activity between two or more persons, accounts, participants, affiliates, systems, or other parties intended to create an improper advantage, circumvent controls, manipulate outcomes, or obtain benefits not legitimately earned.
Circumvention
Any attempt to avoid, bypass, defeat, disable, or otherwise circumvent eligibility requirements, security controls, account restrictions, verification processes, enforcement measures, tracking mechanisms, or other XGlobal controls.
4. Prohibited Fraud & Abuse
Participants and other persons subject to this Policy must not engage in, facilitate, encourage, assist, coordinate, conceal, or knowingly benefit from fraudulent, deceptive, manipulative, abusive, or illegitimate activity.
The examples above are not exhaustive. XGlobal™ may address conduct that has substantially the same effect as prohibited conduct described in this Policy, subject to applicable agreements and applicable law.
5. Ecosystem Monitoring & Verification
To protect the integrity, security, reliability, and fairness of the XGlobal Ecosystem™, XGlobal™ may use automated detection systems, analytical tools, fraud controls, security technologies, statistical analysis, account reviews, and manual investigation processes, subject to applicable law and applicable privacy requirements.
Activity may be evaluated for unusual patterns, anomalies, inconsistencies, artificial behavior, suspicious relationships, or other indicators of invalid or prohibited activity.
XGlobal™ may review accounts or associated activity where reasonably necessary to protect the ecosystem or investigate potential violations.
XGlobal™ may require reasonable verification or supporting information where necessary to confirm identity, account ownership, legitimate activity, eligibility, or compliance with applicable requirements.
Referral, affiliate, sub-affiliate, commission, reward, and related structures may be reviewed for authenticity, accuracy, attribution integrity, and compliance.
Where applicable, transactions, reward calculations, commissions, qualifying events, and related records may be reviewed before or after recognition or payment.
XGlobal™ may use technical and operational controls designed to detect or prevent account abuse, automated abuse, unauthorized access, manipulation, and other threats.
6. Investigations & Evidence
Where XGlobal™ identifies activity that may compromise ecosystem integrity, XGlobal™ may conduct an internal review or investigation to determine the nature, scope, origin, impact, and legitimacy of the activity.
Investigations may include review of relevant account information, activity records, referral relationships, transaction information, technical indicators, communications, system logs, verification information, and other information that XGlobal™ is lawfully entitled to access or process.
XGlobal™ may preserve relevant records and evidence for purposes including fraud prevention, security, enforcement, dispute resolution, legal compliance, regulatory requirements, and protection of the XGlobal Ecosystem™.
An investigation, verification request, temporary restriction, or review does not necessarily mean that a violation has been conclusively established. XGlobal™ may take reasonable protective measures while a matter is being reviewed.
Persons subject to this Policy may be required to provide reasonable cooperation or information relevant to an integrity review, subject to applicable law and the applicable XGlobal™ agreement or program requirements.
7. Enforcement & Consequences
Where XGlobal™ reasonably determines that activity may violate this Policy, an applicable agreement, program rule, security requirement, or applicable law, XGlobal™ may take one or more appropriate protective, corrective, administrative, or enforcement actions.
Invalid, artificial, duplicated, fraudulent, or otherwise non-qualifying activity may be rejected or excluded from eligibility.
Access to relevant accounts, features, programs, rewards, referrals, or other ecosystem functions may be temporarily restricted while a matter is reviewed or addressed.
Rewards, commissions, credits, benefits, or other amounts associated with invalid or improperly obtained activity may be adjusted, withheld, reversed, cancelled, or forfeited, where permitted by applicable terms and law.
Participation, account access, referral privileges, promotional privileges, or other ecosystem access may be suspended.
Accounts or participation rights may be terminated or permanently removed where permitted under applicable agreements and law.
XGlobal™ may pursue appropriate legal, regulatory, contractual, recovery, or other lawful remedies where necessary or appropriate.
Where reasonably practicable and appropriate, XGlobal™ may provide notice of material enforcement action and an opportunity to provide relevant information. Nothing in this Policy requires XGlobal™ to provide advance notice where doing so could compromise an investigation, security measure, fraud-prevention control, legal obligation, regulatory requirement, or the integrity of the ecosystem.
XGlobal™ may consider the nature, severity, frequency, intent, potential impact, actual impact, cooperation, recurrence, and other relevant circumstances when determining an appropriate response.
Enforcement under this Policy does not prevent XGlobal™ from exercising any additional rights or remedies available under applicable agreements, policies, law, equity, or otherwise.
8. Reporting Integrity Issues
Participants, partners, affiliates, sub-affiliates, users, and other persons within the XGlobal Ecosystem™ are encouraged to report suspected fraud, abuse, manipulation, unauthorized activity, or other conduct that may materially compromise ecosystem integrity.
Reports may be reviewed confidentially where reasonably practicable. XGlobal™ may limit disclosure of information relating to reports, investigations, reporting persons, suspected violations, or enforcement actions where necessary to protect privacy, security, legal rights, investigations, or applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
Reports should, where possible, contain sufficient information to allow XGlobal™ to understand the alleged conduct, relevant accounts or activities, approximate dates, supporting evidence, and any other information reasonably available to the reporting person.
Knowingly submitting materially false accusations, fabricated evidence, or malicious reports may itself constitute prohibited conduct under this Policy or another applicable XGlobal™ policy.
9. Ecosystem Updates
The XGlobal Ecosystem™ may evolve as technology, platforms, services, participation models, security threats, fraud methods, advertising practices, legal requirements, regulatory expectations, and internal compliance practices develop.
XGlobal™ may modify this Policy from time to time to reflect legitimate changes to the ecosystem, applicable requirements, fraud-prevention measures, security practices, operational requirements, or legal and regulatory developments.
Where required by applicable law or an applicable agreement, XGlobal™ will provide any notice or obtain any acknowledgment required for material changes.
The version of this Policy in effect at the relevant time will govern the applicable activity, subject to applicable law and any rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be modified retroactively.
